Joe Butler is a Certified Independent Public Finance Advisor (CIPFA) and
Director of Accounting Services for Fiscal Advisors & Marketing, Inc. since
September 2000. Joe offers our clients services in: accounting oversight,
transition staffing services, general ledger accounting, monthly and annual
reporting, single & multi-year budget preparation,
accounting staff outsourcing, internal audit services, and treasury services.
Joe spent 27 years as Business Manager and Treasurer of the Liverpool
Central School District concentrating in the accounting and treasury areas of
the School District operations. He oversaw budgeting, payroll, purchasing,
accounts payable, accounts receivable, internal audit, accounting, investing,
borrowing and banking relations.
Joe has received an M.B.A. Degree with a concentration in Accounting,
and a B.S. in Accounting both from Syracuse University. He also has a C.A.S.
Degree in Educational Administration from Syracuse University. Joe is a
member of the National Association of Independent Public Financial Advisors (NAIPFA),
the Association of School Business Officials (ASBO) and the Government Finance
Officers Association (GFOA).
